Park Bom Faces Criticism for Lackluster Stage Presence After Lee Min-ho Denies Dating Rumors
2NE1's Park Bom, who recently made headlines over a self-initiated dating controversy with actor Lee Min-ho, is now facing criticism for her lackluster stage presence during a recent concert.
On February 23, fellow 2NE1 member Sandara Park posted a video on Instagram capturing highlights from the group's "WELCOME BACK" Asia Tour concert held in Macau on February 22 and 23 at The Venetian Arena.
However, what caught fans' attention was Park Bom's noticeably unenthusiastic demeanor on stage. Unlike members Sandara Park, CL, and Gong Minzy, who energetically approached the crowd, Park Bom walked at a slow pace towards the center of the stage.
While the other members extended their arms forcefully and jumped high during their performance, Park Bom's movements appeared half-hearted. Instead of fully engaging in the choreography, she merely swayed one leg while keeping the other firmly planted on the ground, raising concerns about her performance attitude.
Fans expressed disappointment as her seemingly disengaged stage manner stood in stark contrast to the enthusiasm of her fellow group members, especially in front of a packed audience.
This comes after Park Bom fueled speculation about an alleged relationship with Lee Min-ho, a claim she had repeatedly made since last year by referring to the actor as "my husband" in multiple social media posts. The controversy escalated earlier this month when she reinforced her claims on February 12 and 15, stating, "He really is my husband."
Initially, her agency attempted to downplay the issue, explaining, "Park Bom has been watching the drama 'The Heirs,' and she seems to have become infatuated with Lee Min-ho's character. It's nothing more than a lighthearted incident." However, as her posts continued, concerns grew among fans and the public.
Amid mounting backlash, Park Bom attempted to clarify the situation, writing, "I am alone, and I have nothing to do with him." However, she then added, "Lee Min-ho asked me to write it," further confusing the situation.
With speculation running rampant, Lee Min-ho's agency, MYM Entertainment, finally broke its silence, stating, "Lee Min-ho has no personal relationship with Park Bom. The rumors are completely false."
Following this, Park Bom reiterated, "I am alone. We are not in a relationship. It wasn't self-made-Lee Min-ho asked me to post it." The conflicting statements have only intensified the controversy surrounding her, raising questions about her behavior both online and on stage.
