A video of former BIGBANG member Seungri dancing with three Chinese women on the streets of Korea has been spreading across online communities, leading many to believe it was a recent sighting. However, it has been confirmed that the footage is actually from six years ago.

Recently, a video titled "Seungri's Latest Update" went viral on social media.

The clip shows Seungri dancing in the streets of Korea with three Chinese influencers, holding a camera while playfully shouting numbers in Chinese. At one point, his hair gets tousled by the wind, prompting him to exclaim, "My hair!"-eliciting laughter from the women around him.

As the video spread, netizens reacted coldly, with comments such as, "Even after committing crimes, he's living well," "Unbelievable," and "Shameless." However, upon verification by Herald POP on February 10, the footage was confirmed to be old rather than a recent update.

Back in 2019, one of the Chinese influencers in the video posted it on social media, expressing her support for Seungri amid the Burning Sun scandal. She wrote, "I miss you so much and wish you the best. I hope everything goes well for you. I had hesitated to post this video before, fearing it would damage my image." The comment section was also filled with messages of support for Seungri at the time.

Seungri was a central figure in the Burning Sun Gate scandal, leading to his departure from BIGBANG. He was convicted on multiple charges, including habitual gambling, violation of the Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (illegal filming), violation of the Act on the Punishment of Prostitution, and business embezzlement-totaling nine criminal charges. He was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison and was released in February 2023 after completing his sentence.
