BTS Jungkook Hits the US Billboard 'Hot 100' for 19 Consecutive Weeks, Setting New Records Weekly
Global pop star Jungkook has proven his undying popularity on the US Billboard charts.
As announced by Billboard, a leading US music publication, on March 19 (local time), Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN' has made it to the 100th spot on the main album chart, 'Billboard 200', for the week of March 23rd.
The title track of this album, 'Standing Next to You', has secured the 88th position on the main song chart, 'Hot 100'. With this achievement, Jungkook has continuously charted on both of Billboard's major charts for 19 consecutive weeks.
'Standing Next to You' is setting new records every week for the longest stay on the 'Hot 100' by a personal track of Jungkook. There is growing interest in whether it will tie the record set by BTS's mega-hit song 'Butter', which stayed on the chart for 20 consecutive weeks. 'GOLDEN' has once again broken the record for the longest charting on 'Billboard 200' by a Korean solo artist's album.
In the 'Global 200' and 'Global (excl. US)' charts, solo tracks by Jimin and Jungkook are enjoying long-term success. Jungkook's 'Seven (feat. Latto)' (44th), 'Standing Next to You' (52nd), '3D (feat. Jack Harlow)' (152nd), and Jimin's first solo album 'FACE' title track 'Like Crazy' (142nd) have ranked in the 'Global 200'. In 'Global (excl. US)', 'Seven' (27th), 'Standing Next to You' (45th), '3D' (104th), and 'Like Crazy' (115th) have maintained their positions.
