The backdrop for these rumors is an online whisper suggesting that Lisa was offered a contract with a signing bonus of around 50 billion won but declined it.

In July, there were already speculations about the possibility of Lisa not renewing her contract. At that time, YG stated that they were "in discussions about the renewal with the members" and seem to maintain the same stance amidst the re-emerging rumors. According to these reports, Lisa was seen enjoying a boat ride on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok with Frédéric Arnault, the son of Bernard Arnault, the head of the luxury brand conglomerate LVMH.

Coincidentally, the timeline of Lisa's stay in Thailand aligns with Frédéric Arnault's visit to the country, adding credibility to their dating rumors.

Rumors about their relationship have been circulating since July. While YG did not make any official statements at the time, it's known that the two share a close friendship, which seemed to naturally draw a line on the dating speculations.
