BTS's V Releases a Whopping 102 Concept Photos for 'Layover': Emphasizing Authenticity Over Glamour
BTS's final solo act, V, is making waves with the release of an unprecedented 102 concept photos.
At midnight on the 6th, Big Hit Music unveiled the fourth set of concept photos for V's solo album 'Layover' through BTS's official SNS.
Starting with 23 photos on the 11th of last month, V continued to release 35 photos on August 16th, 20 on August 29th, and 24 today, revealing a total of 102 concept photos across four separate drops.
'Layover' is an album that fully reflects V's personal taste, focusing on showcasing a new side of him. True to this, the vast collection of concept photos captures various facets of V.
Adore's Chief Producer Min Heejin, who oversaw the production of V's debut solo album, explained, "Rather than focusing on V's glamour, we wanted to emphasize the simplicity behind it."
The first batch of concept photos revealed a more natural and unembellished side of V, far from his dazzling stage persona. Some of these photos even featured a makeup-free V, along with images of his pet dog, offering fans a refreshing glimpse into his everyday life.
The second set of photos continued to depict V's daily life, ranging from playful antics to more evocative poses, giving the feel of a photo book.
From the third set onwards, V's intense charisma was evident. The mood from the pre-released music videos for 'Love Me Again', 'Rainy Days', and 'Blue' was perfectly captured, highlighting V's magnetic charm.
The final set of photos focused on V's relaxed demeanor. Whether leisurely enjoying a cigar by the beach, swimming, or basking in the sun, the images exuded a dreamy and languid atmosphere.
Meanwhile, V's debut solo album 'Layover' and the music video for the title track 'Slow Dancing' will be released at 1 PM on the 8th.
