IVE Dominates U.S. Billboard Charts for 17 Weeks Straight: A Testament to Their Unwavering Popularity
K-pop group IVE, consisting of members An Yujin, Gaeul, Rae, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Eseo, continues to enjoy sustained success with their first full-length album "I've IVE" on the U.S. Billboard charts.
According to the latest charts published by the renowned U.S. music magazine, Billboard, dated August 12th, IVE's title track "I AM" from their debut album "I've IVE" has made its mark on the global charts.
Specifically, "I AM" secured the 68th spot on the 'Billboard Global Excl. U.S.' and the 129th position on the 'Billboard Global 200'. Notably, "I AM" has maintained its presence on the Billboard charts for an impressive 17 consecutive weeks, illustrating its consistent popularity.
The song's appeal isn't limited to international charts; it's also a hit domestically. "I AM" has settled in 5th place on Genie's latest weekly chart (covering July 31 to August 6) and claimed the 6th spot on Melon during the same period.
Their double title track "Kitsch" is also receiving love on domestic music charts, enjoying prolonged success simultaneously. "Kitsch" ranked 9th on Genie's latest weekly chart and 13th on Melon. Despite being out for over four months, IVE songs are consistently staying at the top echelons of the charts, testifying to their undying appeal.
Alongside, other tracks like "ELEVEN", "LOVE DIVE", and "After LIKE" have been performing actively on the domestic charts since their debut. "ELEVEN", in particular, has showcased its strength by staying on music charts for a staggering 20 months.
