BTS member Jungkook has secured the top spot on the Weekly Fandom Chart of the K-POP exclusive chart show 'K-POP RADAR,' broadcasted nationwide in the United States.

Amid the buzz surrounding the first-ever regular programming of a K-POP exclusive chart program, 'K-POP RADAR,' on American radio, the K-POP RADAR Weekly Fandom Chart was announced on the 28th.

This week's chart saw Jungkook's 'Seven (feat. Latto)' claim the number one spot.

Jungkook's 'Seven' music video recorded a staggering 82.92 million views during the K-POP RADAR's third-week tally period from July 14, 2023, to July 20, 2023. He broke the record of surpassing 80 million views in less than a week. His Spotify followers also increased by around 403,000, a figure roughly 120 times the average for K-pop artists of 3,400.

K-POP RADAR stated, "He demonstrated overwhelming momentum befitting a top artist" and "showed astonishing numbers across all metrics."

The TOP 10 on this week's K-POP RADAR Weekly Fandom Chart also includes the popular girl group NewJeans' 'Cooll With You' in second place, and NCT DREAM's 'ISTJ' in third. Also, IVE's collaborative song with Pepsi, 'I WANT,' made it to the 7th place.

The K-POP RADAR Weekly Trending Chart, announced on 'K-POP RADAR,' is a chart produced by the fandom data service K-POP RADAR from music startup Space Oddity.

The K-POP RADAR Weekly Trending Chart is the only K-POP exclusive chart created based on data from global major platforms, reflecting the current situation of K-POP, over 90% of which is consumed overseas. It reflects the increase and decrease of fandom on major global platforms such as YouTube music video views, release dates, Twitter and Instagram follower increases, Spotify follower increases, etc., and is recognized as a fair and transparent chart.

Meanwhile, K-POP RADAR is a free service launched by music startup Space Oddity, which also introduced the fan platform 'BLIP,' a schedule notifier for K-POP fans that's been warmly received by the K-POP fandom. It currently provides the rate of change in real-time music video views, YouTube subscribers, Twitter, Instagram followers, etc., for about 800 domestic teams in a website format. They have been creating buzz every year by revealing the 'K-POP World Map.' In 2020, they announced the 10-year growth graph and current status of K-POP after signing an official partner agreement with Twitter. Particularly, the '2022 K-POP RADAR Conference' held last November became a topic of conversation, consisting of four sessions including '2022 K-POP GLOBAL MAP: Post-pandemic, 2022 K-POP World Map,' 'Girls on Top: 4th Gen Girl groups,' 'K-POP LOVERS CLUB: Keywords of 2022,' and '2022 K-POP 10 PICKS: The K-POP that shone this year.'
