BTS member Jungkook has proven his unparalleled popularity with his debut solo song, "SEVEN". Not only has it dominated major real-time music charts like South Korea's largest music site Melon, but it has also conquered music charts across the globe, including Japan and the United States.

According to the world's largest streaming platform, Spotify, on July 16, Jungkook's first solo single "SEVEN" released on the 14th has topped the "Global Top Songs". As soon as the song was released, it was streamed 15,995,378 times, immediately ranking at No.1. This is the first time a Korean solo artist has entered the Spotify Global chart, and Jungkook is the first to go straight to No.1.

BigHit Music, Jungkook's agency, said on the same day, "The streaming count of 'SEVEN' is the highest ever recorded by a new song entering the 'Global Top Songs'". "SEVEN" is a song that blends a catchy melody with a warm acoustic guitar sound and a rhythm of the UK Garage genre. Jungkook's sweet vocals stand out in the song. As the title suggests, it is a "passionate serenade" expressing a desire to be with a loved one from Monday to Sunday. "SEVEN" has been released in two versions, "clean" and 'explicit". The "explicit version" is characterized by bold lyrics towards a lover.

Just as Jungkook wishes, "I hope it becomes a summer song that many people can enjoy this summer," it fits well with the summer atmosphere. Especially, as seen in the English lyrics, it has properly targeted the global music market.

The instrumental version of "SEVEN" ranked 65th on the 'Global Top Songs' chart. The solo songs 'Still With You' and 'My You' that Jungkook had pre-released recorded 54th and 113th respectively.

"SEVEN" topped the "Top Songs" charts on iTunes in 106 countries and regions, including the United States, UK, Canada, Germany, and France. It also took the 1st place (clean version), 2nd place (explicit version), and 4th place (instrumental) on Japan's Oricon "Daily Digital Single Ranking".
