Global BTS ARMYs roared with cheers and support as lead vocalist Jungkook of BTS made his solo debut.

On the 14th (local time), Jungkook performed for the first time as a K-pop solo artist on Good Morning America (GMA), a leading morning news program by ABC, held at Central Park in Manhattan, New York, as part of the '2023 Summer Concert Series.' Although an outdoor performance was initially planned, heavy rain prevented this from happening. Thanks to pre-recorded footage, Jungkook's stage was still unveiled.

The venue erupted as Jungkook, dressed in light jeans and a white tee, made his appearance from behind the stage, later donning a shirt and thrilling the audience from the rear of the seating area. Descending slowly down the stairs next to the audience, Jungkook performed 'Euphoria' and responded to the fan cheers with a hand kiss. Fans fervently called out Jungkook's name, cheering for the youngest member of BTS who had reappeared after a long while.

  Following up with his new song 'Seven', Jungkook left the audience in awe with his perfect dance moves and unwavering live vocals, despite the worsening weather. Moreover, he proved his all-rounder status by personally delivering the rap parts of American rapper Latto, showcasing his ability in dance, live vocals, and rap. However, a downpour followed, and Jungkook sang 'Dynamite', BTS's Billboard No. 1 song, in the rain. Fans responded passionately in the rain, and Jungkook demonstrated his bona fide lead vocalist skills by taking on the parts of all the members. At around 7:55, ABC eventually called off the performance and evacuated the audience. Subsequently, when Jungkook appeared in the studio, he expressed regret in Korean, saying, "I heard that you have been waiting for a long time and even pitched tents. I love the energy I receive directly from the fans at the venue and wanted to perform with that energy, but it seems the weather was not on my side."

In response to a question about BTS members' reaction to the new song 'Seven', he replied in English, "They loved it".

Jungkook, who previously collaborated with international artists like Coldplay and Charlie Puth, expressed his thoughts in English on his recent collaboration with American female rapper Latto: "It was an astonishing experience. She (Latto) fit perfectly in the song," and confidently said he is satisfied with the song and music video's results.

In this appearance, Jungkook presented his first solo single 'Euphoria', the new song 'Seven', and his first Billboard No. 1 song, 'Dynamite'.
