BTS's Suga Dazzles Jakarta with his Spellbinding Performance
BTS's Suga has dazzled Jakarta with a spectacular show.
From the 26th to the 28th, Suga held his 'SUGA | Agust D TOUR 'D-DAY'' at the Indonesian Convention Exhibition (ICE BSD) Hall 5-6 in Jakarta, Indonesia. This concert, which sold out for all three performances (with a total of about 30,000 audience members), marked the opening of the Asian leg of this world tour.
In this Jakarta concert, Suga showcased the history of the Agust D Trilogy through performances ranging from the title track 'Haegeum' of his solo album 'D-DAY,' to the original mixtape title songs 'Daechwita' and 'Agust D.'
Suga, embodying both his BTS persona and his alter ego Agust D, engaged with his fans by unveiling a unique charm through performances such as an acoustic rendition of 'Trivia 轉: Seesaw' and 'Life Goes On' accompanied by piano.
The captivating stage composition and direction, along with carefully timed VCRs, enhanced the overall visual experience and heightened the intensity of the show. Suga proved his mettle as a polished performer with stable live vocals and savvy stage manners at this concert.
Upon concluding the Jakarta concert, Suga expressed his sentiments, saying, "I feel great to be back in Jakarta after five years. I really missed you all, and I hope you take away only happy memories. Thank you for enjoying the show. This is not the end. I will continue to perform for a long time. Thank you, and I love you."
Meanwhile, Suga will continue his world tour in Kanagawa, Japan, from June 2nd to 4th, Bangkok, Thailand, from the 9th to 11th, Singapore from the 16th to 18th, and Seoul on the 24th and 25th.
