NCT's Taeyong on New Track 'SHALALA': It Mirrors My Free-Spirited Persona
NCT's Taeyong has generated buzz by sharing behind-the-scenes episodes of working on his first mini album 'SHALALA'.
The content titled 'Definition of TAEYONG', revealed on NCT's YouTube channel at midnight on the 23rd, captures the making process of Taeyong's first mini album 'SHALALA'. Taeyong's in-depth introduction of his first solo album and the behind-the-scenes story captivated viewers' attention.
Particularly, Taeyong introduced the title track 'SHALALA' saying, "I imbued it with emotions I felt recently during Paris Fashion Week, symbolizing that 'I am quite free-spirited in daily life' through the song. I hope listeners feel good, excited, and as if they're one with the song."
In addition, Re Jung, who choreographed the new track 'SHALALA', said, "I felt that this song needs to win with coolness. I thought lyrics, song, and beat, everything required a cool vibe. I tried to display the common denominator of Taeyong's coolness and what I can do," which heightened anticipation for the performance created by Taeyong and Re Jung.
Furthermore, Taeyong, who participated in writing and composing all the songs in the album, detailedly shared the stories behind the songs, including 'GWANDO' with a bright, cheerful mood, 'Move Mood Mode' with a lovely, youthful vibe, 'Virtual Insanity' expressing a futuristic atmosphere, 'RUBY' illustrating longing for his old pet dog Ruby, '404 File Not Found' containing words he wanted to hear when he was struggling, and 'Back to the Past' conveying a message of support and comfort.
