Park Jimin from BTS is heating up the globe with "Angel Pt.1," the main theme song for "Fast & Furious: Ride or Die" (aka Furious 10), in which he has participated.

The audio and music video for "Angel Pt.1," the main theme song for Hollywood blockbuster "Furious 10," featuring Jimin, were released on May 18th at 9 p.m. KST through major domestic and international music sites and YouTube.

Jimin uplifts the completeness of the song with his delicate vocals woven into the lyrical melody. He captivates the ears in a perfect collaboration with Grammy Award winner Muni Long, hip-hop artist Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, and singer-songwriter JVKE.

Jimin also made a personal appearance in the music video, leading the climax with fantastic rhythm against a red-tinged New York sky. The global Twitter trends were filled with excitement with "ANGEL PT 1 IS COMING" topping the charts, and "#Angel_Pt1," "JIMIN FOR FASTX SAGA," occupying the top 5, generating huge responses.

Jimin, who solidified his position as a 21st-century pop icon by becoming the first Korean artist to get his name on the credits for the "Fast & Furious" series OST, made his global status felt with another OST, "End of the Road Begins(Intro)," featuring him and Daddy Yankee boasting about the lineup for this collaboration.

"Angel Pt.1," which hit the top spot on the worldwide iTunes Top Songs Chart amid the worldwide frenzy of fans, won the first place in 80 countries and regions on iTunes. Among them, Jimin set the record for the most number one songs as a K-pop solo artist in the United States with a total of six songs, including "Angel Pt.1".

On Spotify, "Angel Pt.1" made an explosive debut at 23rd on the global daily chart with a record of 2,602,189 streams in just 12 hours of tracking. Meanwhile, on the Korean Spotify daily chart, four of Jimin's songs, including "Like Crazy" at No. 1, "Like Crazy" English version at No. 2, "Angel Pt.1" at No. 7, and "Set Me Free Pt.2" at No. 8, made it to the top 10.

Jimin, who climbed to the top of the Spotify Global Artist Chart and the Global Digital Artist Ranking as a K-pop solo artist for the longest period (65 days), shared his excitement with fans on Weverse after the release of the song, saying, "I had the honor of participating in a song called Angel. Please enjoy it a lot."
