Honoring the Late MoonBin: ASTRO to Hold Japanese Concert Screening with Memorial Altar on Site
The group ASTRO is set to hold a concert screening in Japan.
On May 15, the official Japanese website of ASTRO announced the screening of 'In Memory Of MOON BIN 'The 3rd ASTROAD to JAPAN 'STARGAZER''.
The agency expressed, "We thank you for your warm hearts and words towards Moon Bin," and stated, "To show our condolences, we will hold the 'In Memory Of MOON BIN 'The 3rd ASTROAD to JAPAN 'STARGAZER'' screening."
Accordingly, the concert that was held on June 3rd and 4th of 2022 will be screened sequentially at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A on the 20th, and the Osaka Orix Theater on the 22nd and 23rd. A memorial altar with flowers will be set up inside the venue.
The flowers for the memorial altar will be prepared by the management, and even those without tickets on the day can participate in the memorial. The proceeds from the screening tickets are planned to be used for social contribution activities, such as donations, after consultation with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Moon Bin passed away on May 19 at the age of 25. His funeral was held privately, attended only by family, close relatives, and company colleagues.
ASTRO's Moon Bin & Sanha had planned to hold the '2023 MOONBIN & SANHA FAN CON TOUR: 'DIFFUSION' IN JAPAN' in Tokyo on the 20th, and in Osaka on the 22nd and 23rd. However, it was canceled due to the tragic event.
