Kim Jae-joong Leaves C-JeS, Joins Forces with Idol Producer Noh Hyun-tae
Singer and actor Kim Jae-joong is starting a new challenge.
According to multiple music industry insiders, Kim Jae-joong is leaving his agency C-JeS Entertainment, where he has been for 14 years, and joining forces with former Cube Entertainment Vice President Noh Hyun-tae.
Noh Hyun-tae, the former vice president, is known for his success with groups like Beast and 4Minute and first met Kim Jae-joong more than 20 years ago when he was in charge of his management. Kim Jae-joong decided to partner with Noh when he first went independent. Noh plans to fully support Kim Jae-joong's activities while also diving into rookie idol production with him.
As Kim Jae-joong, a key figure who has reigned as a top idol through his activities with TVXQ and JYJ and a pioneer of the Hallyu wave, joins forces with Noh Hyun-tae, who created unique idol groups at Cube, it raises expectations for the birth of a mega rookie who will shake up the music industry.
Meanwhile, C-JeS Entertainment, which has supported Kim Jae-joong's global activities since signing him in 2009, announced on April 19, "Management duties with Kim Jae-joong will be terminated on April 22. Our company and Kim Jae-joong have been together based on long-lasting trust. It has been an honor to be with Kim Jae-joong in his successful global endeavors."
They continued, "We sincerely express our gratitude to our artist Kim Jae-joong, who has grown with us for a long time. We ask for your continued interest and support for the various activities that Kim Jae-joong will undertake independently in the future," announcing a beautiful farewell.
