BTS member J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok, 29) is set to enlist in the army.

Big Hit Music, the group's agency, announced on the 1st, "J-Hope will be enlisting as an active-duty soldier to fulfill his military duty. There will be no official event on the day he enters the training camp." The exact enlistment date has not been disclosed.

J-Hope is the second member of the team to enlist, following Jin, the eldest member, who enlisted last December and is currently serving as a training instructor for new recruits.

The agency stated, "The entrance ceremony for the new recruit training center is an event where many soldiers and their families gather. To prevent safety accidents caused by on-site congestion, we ask fans not to visit the location. We kindly request that you send warm support and encouragement to J-Hope in spirit only."

Starting with Jin's enlistment, the BTS members are fulfilling their military duties sequentially. The members have also been actively pursuing solo activities, with J-Hope's 'Chicken Noodle Soup' followed by Jin's single 'The Astronaut,' RM's first solo album 'Indigo,' and Jimin's first solo album 'Promise.' Jungkook sang the soundtrack 'Dreamers' for the Qatar World Cup, and V is currently appearing on the tvN entertainment program 'Seojin's Home.'
