Here's The Important Reason Why BTS Will Opt For 'Extended Vacation'
Big Hit Music makes an important announcement about BTS on Monday, Dec. 6. The entertainment company revealed Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook are taking a long hiatus this time.
BTS recently finished their "Permission To Dance On Stage" concert series in Los Angeles. Now that some of them are back in South Korea, they are ready to take their much-needed time off and it will be an extended vacation.
Why is that so? Soompi noted the boys would be spending the holidays with their respective families this time. In fact, this would be the first time they would do so since they debuted in 2013.
Not only that. They would also be preparing for their upcoming four-day concert in Seoul in 2022 and a new album that would mark the beginning of a "new chapter."
This would be the second time BTS would take a hiatus after the first one in 2019. The break would officially begin after completing the "2021 Jingle Ball Tour."
Bit Hit explained the boys had stayed active in 2020 and 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic to stay in touch with their fans. Thankfully, it showed stunning results, helping them establish themselves as top global artists.
So, the rest would give them the chance to be inspired again and recharged with creative energy after tirelessly committing themselves to different activities. Big Hit, then, asked fans for consideration for their favorite K-pop idols also have to enjoy their ordinary and free, everyday lives just like others.
This time, they would solely concentrate on themselves, although just for a short while. BTS, too, would be focusing on preparing for their upcoming concert and releasing their new album.
The agency thanked everyone who continuously cheered for Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook. When the break ended, Big Hit promised they would return in their best and healthiest forms to see and meet their fans in person again.
Meanwhile, after the end of the last stretch of "Permission To Dance On Stage" in L.A., Jin, Jimin and Jungkook are now back in South Korea, per AllKpop. These three were seen at the Incheon International Airport on Dec. 6.
They all came back from L.A. and would undergo self-quarantine at their respective homes for 10 days, following the government's new COVID-19 guidelines. Alternatively, RM, Suga, V and J-Hope, reportedly, stayed in the U.S.
