Jimin revealed during the press conference that he found out the news regarding their achievement late. RM had sent them the message at 3:20 AM, but he only read it at 4 AM.
He said, “To be honest, I didn’t know. I heard the news a bit late. It was at 3:20 that RM sent us the message, but I only found out about it past 4 AM, then I cried until about 7 AM and got so tired, I fell asleep on the sofa.”
Jimin continued that he was with Jungkook at that time, and they were so thrilled and excited. When they checked the chart and stared at it, Jimin started crying, and his tears just came pouring out. He revealed that they all started talking after the news, and they told Namjoon (RM) that it is because of him that they were able to accomplish the feat.
