On September 2, BTS talked about landing No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 with their new English-track "Dynamite" on their Online Global Media Day. The recent feat of the superstars is the highest ranking on the chart achieved by an all-Korean group. And for the week of September 5, BTS also rose to the top spots on many other Billboard charts.

On their online media day, RM revealed that he was waiting for the charts results early at dawn. As soon as he heard about the ranking results, he immediately asked for confirmation regarding the news and quickly slept since they have a practice and activities scheduled for the next day. He continued that he reminisced a lot for him to avoid being overly happy about the touching moment.

Jimin expressed that the new milestone is something he never imagined. There was one time when he thought that it would be nice if their group will at least experience to top the Billboard Hot 100, and now that it happened, it still doesn't feel real for him. He went to say that he is pleased about the new achievement.

V commented that it never crossed his mind that they will get such massive attention from the world. She shared that coming up to Seoul, spending their time practicing become good memories in the past. The challenging training they have endured is now a breath of fresh air for them, and V is happy with everything they achieved.

Furthermore, Suga expressed his disbelief to their fans, placing first on the Billboard Hot 100. Although the group dream for the spot, he shared that all they do is not actually for that goal. Now that the milestone is on their hands, he admitted that he felt bewildered and overwhelmed.

Jin also unveiled that he was contemplating how he can translate his happiness to their fans. He kept writing and erasing his post in Weverse and expressed that the feat was something BTS and ARMY worked hard together.

Finally, J-Hope revealed his memory from seven years ago at the time of the debut of BTS. He shared that he did it with a do-or-die attitude, and he worked hard as his stamina would allow him. He continued that it such an honor to receive such a significant amount of love that is more than he ever imagined
