Go Ara, Lee Jae Wook, Oh Man Seok, And Others Tested Negative For COVID-19
After the exposure of some celebrity to those with COVID-19, the artists had to get themselves tested. And recently, some chose to reveal that they tested negative from the virus.
On August 21, the agency of Oh Man Seok confirmed that he had tested negative for Coronavirus. The actor was tested on August 17 because he had been in close contact with a makeup artist who tested positive for Coronavirus.
The makeup artist he has been working in the play “Jjampong” has 15 participants who also tested positive for the virus. Actors including Kim Won Hae, Seo Sung Jong, and Heo Dong Wong also tested positive for the virus.
However, Oh Man Seok’s agency stated that the actor has also been filming for the show “Just Comedy” in the JTBC building in Sangam-dong when he knew that he had been in direct contact with a person Coronavirus. He informed the production staff and halted the filming right away.
Although the test results of Oh Man Seok are negative for the Coronavirus, the filming is still on hold. The actor is now on self-quarantine, as per the government guideline to stop the virus from spreading.
After Heo Dong-Won was also confirmed to have Coronavirus, the cast and staff of “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” also got tested for Coronavirus.
Actors Go Ara, Lee Jae Wook, and Kim Joo Heon announced that they have tested negative for the Coronavirus. Lee Jae Wook was reported not in direct contact, but he got tested for the virus as a precautionary measure. As for Go Ara, she will be in self-quarantine and will refrain from continuing the scheduled activities according to the guidelines, despite the negative test results.
While waiting for the results of other actors and crew members, productions are in a halt in the meantime. In South Korea, actors and production staff members usually work on multiple productions at once.
