KBS 2TV’s “If You Cheat, You Die” (LT) gives a closer look to its cast at the drama’s first script reading!

The first star-studded script reading of the drama was conducted with the presence of the producing director (PD) Kim Hyung Seok, and writer Lee Sung Min. The stars present during the script reading includes Jo Yeo Jeong, Go Joon, Yeonwoo, Kim Young Dae, Lee Si Eon, Jung Sang Hoon, Song Ok Sook, Hong Soo Hyun, Kim Ye Won, Oh Min Seok, Lee Se Na, Bae Noo Ri, Kim Do Hyun, Kim Jung Pal, Kim Soo Jin, Lee Tae Hyung, Han Soo Yeon, Gong Sang Ah, Yoo Jung Hoong, and Song Seung Ha.

“If You Cheat, You Die,” per Soompi is a comedy-mystery thriller about adults wrapped by a guilty conscience after cheating. Playing the bestselling crime mystery novelist Kang Yeo Joo is Jo Yeo Jeong, who’s always thinking about different ways of killing people. Taking the part of her husband, Han Woo Sung, is Go Joon. The character is a divorced lawyer who has made a written promise with his wife that states, “If You Cheat, You Die.”

The drama director, PD Kim Hyung Seok, said that he is very thankful that so many great actors had gathered in the event before the script-reading began. He also expressed that he wants to beat COVID-19 and create a drama that is fun and classy.

Writer Lee Sung Min shared that he is very excited that the actors that he’s been thinking of are present. While the head of the drama Lee Gun Joon expressed that “If You Cheat, You Die,” it is a highly anticipated KBS project. He continued saying his hopes that the viewership ratings will be as strong as the drama title.

The script-reading kicked off with splendid chemistry among the leads, as Jo Yeo Jeong and Go Joon perfectly portrayed a married couple.

Furthermore, the rookie star Kim Young Dae is immersed in his character as Cha Soo Ho, who plays a convenience store part-time worker with a pretty face who gets involved with Kang Yeo Geo and tries to protect her.

The professional housekeeper role, Yeom Jin Ok, was impressively portrayed by Song Ok Sook, while Jung Sang Hoon will play the best friend of Han Woo Sung named So Jin Ho.

Lee Si Eon will take part as the experienced detective Jang Seung Chul. He will be working together with im Kim Ye Won as she transformed into Ahn Se Jin, the sole female detective of the violent crimes detective.

Meanwhile, Playing Ma Dong Gyun, a chief National Intelligence Service, will be Oh Min Seok.

According to a source from the drama “If You Cheat, You Die,” the series has a unique story. They are planning to show their viewers another level of entertainment that is funny and exciting but remains classy. “Please look forward to the progress of the drama and the actors’ amazing chemistry.”

“If You Cheat You Die” premieres in October following the upcoming drama “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol.”
