Han Seung Woo Of VICTON Shares Story About His First Solo Mini-album
In an interview with Star1 magazine with Han Seung Woo of VICTON, where he is the cover for their September issue. He also talked about his first solo mini-album, "Fame."
When asked what his fellow members' reaction about his solo mini-album was, he replied with ease. Seung Woo said that as soon as his group members heard his music, they recognized that it was his. Seung Woo admitted that the honest evaluations made him feel disappointed, but that album came out better thanks to it.
Han Seung Woo wrote all the lyrics for his solo track, and he described it as an album that contains his autobiographical stories. Seung Woo wanted to share his life experience, his ups, and downs that he has gone through while making such kinds of music.
The idol also thought that he feels stronger while preparing his solo debut. He became matured to the point of expressing his life story and made his inner confidently strong too.
Han Seung Woo does not want to limit himself to any genre, but he aims to create a different kind as well. He is interested in trot music, a pop music genre that has boomed interest in Korea lately. It is known for its distinctive style, vocal inflections and is also known to older generations.
It is too much to it as a promotional song, but Han Seung Woo has thought that he wanted to try writing trot music once. Han Seung Woo added he also wanted to write a different kind of music regardless of genre. He wanted to try writing music for a girl group or maybe a commercial jingle.
