BLACKPINK's Jennie Remains Undisputed In The Top Spot For The August Brand Reputation Rankings For Girl Group Members
The Korean Research Institute reveals brand reputation rankings of each girl group members for August!
Each girl idol standing was determined by analyzing the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 510 girl group idol members basing on the data collected from July 15 to August 15.
Holding firm on the first spot is BLACKPINK's Jennie. With the brand reputation index of 2,549,026, she remains on the top of the list for August. Among the high-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis include "fashion," "SOLO," and "YouTube," while her highest ranking related terms added "thankful," "sexy," and "record." BLACKPINK Jennie's positivity-negativity analysis shared a score of 83.77 percent positive reactions.
The topnotch BLACKPINK member- Jennie recently surpassed the 500 million mark YouTube views with her "SOLO" MV becoming the first female K-pop soloist to achieve the feat. "SOLO" was released on November 12, 2018, during her debut as a solo artist, and it took about one year, eight months, and 15 days for her to reach the milestone.
The second spot on the ranking is Red Velvet's Irene, who leaped from last month's fifth place. She scored with the brand reputation ranking of 2,167,706. Together with Seulgi, Irene's alter ego in the subunit, they will be making a performance for the TIME100 Talks event on August 18 at 6 PM, KST.
Oh My Girl's Seunghee also took a massive leap on this month's brand reputation ranking, from rank 30 last year, she made it to the 3rd rank. Garnering a brand reputation index of 3,310,960 and impressed with a superb rise in her score the previous month with 92.70 percent.
