Watch: Cast Of ‘Flower Of Evil’ Describe Their Drama + Reveal Lessons Learned From Each Other
Moon Chae Won, Lee Joon Gi, Jang Hee Jin, and Seo Hyun Woo share what they learned from each other in the sit-down interview with Rakuten Viki regarding their new drama “Flower of Evil.”
“Flower of Evil” is about the story of a man who hides his past named Baek Hee Sung (played by Lee Joon Gi), and pretended to love his wife Cha Ji Won (played by Moon Chae Won). Cha Ji Won, as a detective, begins to grow suspicions against her husband, and the pair ultimately forced to confront a dark reality they never wanted to face. Meanwhile, playing the daughter of the serial killer Do Hae Soo is Jang Hee Jin, and portraying the reporter Kim Mu Jin, is Seo Hyun Woo.
Lee Joon Gi described “Flowers of Evil” during the interview as “love and truth,” and Moon Chae Won said that the drama is “unpredictable.” Jang Hee Jin emphasized that the story will be full of suspense while Seo Hyun Woo added that it is also thrilling.
The stars also shared what they have learned from each other while working together. Lee Joon Gi expressed that Moon Chae Won’s energy and personality are the complete opposite of his. He described Moon Chae Won as very detailed, and she takes her work very seriously and carefully. Lee Joon Gi also noted that the actress makes up for things that he lacks and helps him see something that he hadn’t realized before.
Speaking highly of her co-star Jang Hee Jin, Moon Cha Won described her as sweet and affectionate. She said that even she only filmed two scenes with Jang hee Jin, she can tell that one of her strengths is being warmhearted.
Moreover, Jang Hee Jin revealed that she loved the chemistry she made with Seo Hyun Woo and expressed that it is because of Seo Hyun Woo's efforts. She added that she’s getting a lot of help from him, and it is an honor working with a superb actor like him.
Also, Seo Hyun Woo described Lee Joon Gi as an energizer because he always gives positive energy on the set.
Finally, Lee Joon Gi gave a message to their fans on Viki and said that all they can offer to them in these hard times is a well-made drama. He also expressed that they are hoping that their show can comfort viewers during these trying times.
