Actor Kim Soo-Hyun Returns To The Small Screen With ‘Psycho but It’s Okay’
Kim Soo-Hyun will be pairing up with Seo Ye-Ji for his upcoming drama ‘Psycho but It’s Okay’ also known as ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’ that is set to premiere this June 20, 2020.
The drama is described as a healing romance that resembles a storybook fantasy. Kim Soo-Hyun will be playing the role of Moon Kang Tae, a breadwinner for his family since his parents died when he was young.
Seo Ye-Ji will be playing the role of a children’s book author who suffers from an antisocial personality disorder. Newly released stills of her character reveal her sophisticated and bold fashion sense in the drama.
‘Psycho but It’s Okay’ will be Kim Soo-Hyun’s first drama after he was discharged from his military service on July 1, 2019. Prior to his confirmation for the drama comeback, he made a cameo appearance in ‘Hotel del Luna’ in 2019 and the hit drama ‘Crash Landing on You’ earlier this year.
Kim Soo-Hyun is known for his top-tier acting skills which can be seen in his previous movies and drama series. Some of his notable works are his dramas, Dream High, Moon Embracing the Sun, and My Love from the Star and his movie Secretly, Greatly, where he played as a North Korean soldier.
His movie Real, which was released before he enlisted in the military service, received poor reviews from the viewers back in 2017. Despite the reviews, the movie still became one of the hot topics at that time, especially the nude scene that the late Sulli’s character had in the movie.
It cannot be denied that Kim Soo-Hyun is one of the most celebrated actors in Korea right now. The announcement of his return to the small screen made headlines, proving a fact that a lot of his fans are excited to see him act again.
