FIFTY FIFTY Declines Mediation with Agency Attract: 'No Intention to Reconcile'
FIFTY FIFTY is anticipated to continue its legal dispute with its agency, Attract.
A representative from Attract stated to Sports Kyunghyang on August 16th, "FIFTY FIFTY informed the court that they have no intention to mediate, hence the mediation attempt has failed."
Previously, on the 9th, the court had conducted a private mediation session that lasted about 2 hours concerning the exclusive contract dispute between FIFTY FIFTY and Attract. However, as both parties couldn't reach an agreement, the court recommended further negotiations between them until the 16th.
It's known that Attract's executives and the parents of FIFTY FIFTY's leader Arango Saena participated in the confidential mediation.
Attract emphasized, "If there are misunderstandings about settlements or other matters, let's return to the company and resolve it through dialogue." They added, "We always hope for and want the return of FIFTY FIFTY members. If they decide to return, we will provide full support and make every effort to restore FIFTY FIFTY to its former state."
However, with FIFTY FIFTY expressing no intention to mediate on this day, it's expected that the exclusive contract dispute trial between both sides will resume.
On a side note, FIFTY FIFTY announced the release of a collaborative track with Hollywood actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter on the same day.
