BLACKPINK in Love: All Four Members' Dating Rumors Confirmed or Debunked
K-pop girl group BLACKPINK is in love. The rumors of BLACKPINK members dating, which started with Jennie, have now peaked with Jisoo confirming her relationship.
Dispatch reported on the 3rd about the dating rumors between Jisoo and actor An Bo-hyun. According to the report, An Bo-hyun has always been visiting Jisoo's house in Yongsan, Seoul, to accommodate 'homebody' Jisoo. He was said to have always adjusted his schedule to hers, even showing his sweet side by packing meals from popular restaurants. Friends of the two also revealed they share many common interests like acting, singing, and fashion and are carrying on a mature relationship with mutual respect for each other.
Especially noteworthy was Jisoo's confirmation of her relationship with An Bo-hyun. Jisoo, who carefully selected her words, stated, "We are in a stage of slowly getting to know each other with good feelings. I would appreciate it if you watch us with warm eyes," marking the first official dating confirmation within BLACKPINK.
This year, all BLACKPINK members were involved in dating rumors. Although their agency, YG Entertainment, has always responded with "We cannot confirm artists' private lives," many fans have accepted these dating rumors as facts.
The starting point of BLACKPINK's dating rumors this year was Jennie. Last year, she was embroiled in dating rumors when photos of her on a date in Jeju Island with BTS' V were released. Amid this, in May this year, testimonies of Jennie and V's date in Paris resurfaced, spotlighting the rumors once again. At that time, V visited France for fashion events, while Jennie visited for an international film festival. French freelance journalist Amar Taoualit, who released footage of the two walking hand in hand on the banks of the Seine in Paris, claimed, "V and Jennie are definitely dating."
Following this, Rosé was then caught up in dating rumors with actor Kang Dong-won, who is 17 years her senior. A Chinese media outlet speculated about their relationship, based on photos showing Rosé and Kang Dong-won wearing couple necklaces and matching outfits.
They were seen seated side by side in a group picture of fashion industry workers at a Burberry event, which former creative director Riccardo Tisci had posted.
The agency initially maintained its usual stance of "We cannot confirm artists' private lives," but as the atmosphere solidified towards acknowledging the couple's relationship, they later officially denied the dating rumors, stating, "We inform you once again as baseless speculation continues."
In July, Lisa was rumored to be dating Frédéric Arnault, the son of Bernard Arnault, the chairman of LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), the global luxury group. Frédéric Arnault, the second richest person in the world according to Forbes, is the CEO of TAG Heuer, a luxury watch brand under the LVMH group.
The dating rumors initiated abroad caught Lisa and Frédéric Arnault spending time together at a restaurant near Paris. Furthermore, it was noted that Frédéric Arnault, an avid BLACKPINK fan, had attended the group's concert in Los Angeles.
