Super Junior's Heechul Sues Malicious Commentators + Perpetrators Ask Him To Drop The Lawsuit
Heechul of Super Junior does not take vile comments loosely, and he made that abundantly clear when he eventually hired six lawyers to bring the perpetrators to trial. But when Heechul prosecuted the hostile commentators, one of them published an appeal for Heechul to withdraw the case because of their family's challenging financial conditions.
The commenter's letter asked Kim Heechul to forgive the malicious commenter and admitted that it was wrong for him to scold someone on the internet, and shared that its family doesn't have the resources to pay for court money. The person also tried to guilt-trip Kim Heechul because he opted to sue him while he was an ordinary person and powerless.
The malicious commenter even told Kim Heechul in the letter that he had changed and is not the same person he used to know when he was starting in the K-pop industry, adding that he became a money-hungry person. With the reason of coming from a low-class family with no resources to earn money, the commenter asked Heechul to drop the case and change his wrong decisions before it was too late.
And Heechul decided to share his disconcerting perception on the internet based hater, who threatened him, in a recent conversation with Sisa Journal. Heechul said, "I do not even believe he was the hostile commentator who wrote that letter. I think he was a brilliant fan. That remark was kind of a threat. Although it can scare certain men, others just go, 'What the heck is that? It is so disturbing.' I am the latter." (via Koreaboo)
The Super Junior member doesn't believe that a hater posted that threat, as he thinks one of his loyal fans did it to strengthen his judgment as they fear his kind heart would grow weak as the real malicious commenters make amends with him.
Heechul ended his interview by assuring his fans that he will see to it that the complaints he lodged will push through, and the cyberbullies will be punished strongly by the law. He thanked all of his fans for their undying support for his actions, and he won't stop battling against the malicious commenters as he will do what is right in the end.
