JYP Reveals MV Teaser For 'When We Disco' Featuring Sunmi
JYP unveils the MV teaser of 'When We Disco' alongside solo artist Sunmi on social media.
On August 5, JYP launched the MV teaser for his upcoming single 'When We Disco' on Youtube, collaborating with former Wonder Girls member Sunmi. The two artists are seen leaning on a balcony, gazing at the horizon.
JYP posted the MV teaser with a caption, "What do you think, J." The upcoming single for the record producer features an 80s vibe and will be a disco track as per the title of the song.
Earlier this week, JYP also released teaser photos for the upcoming single 'When We Disco.' The two teaser photos feature JYP standing in the middle of the dancefloor while brushing his hair back. The other photo depicts the singer looking at the camera with vigor and longing on his eyes.
JYP's latest track 'When We Disco' will be released on August 12, 2020, at 6 PM KST.
Although Sunmi left JYP Entertainment for MAKEUS Entertainment to pursue a solo career, the former Wonder Girls member maintained a close relationship with her record producer. This was seen on Sunmi's recent release 'Pporappippam' on July 2020, where JYP commented on the track and supported the singer on her success.
'When We Disco' marks Sunmi's comeback in two months after 'Pporappippam.' Meanwhile, JYP's last single was still in December 2019 with the record producer collaborating with rapper Superbee and soloist BIBI on the track 'Fever.' JYP's upcoming single marks his eight-month return to the music scene.
JYP (Park Jin-young) was born on December 13, 1971, and is a singer-songwriter, record producer, record executive, and a reality show judge. He is also known in the industry as the "AsianSoul" and his initials "JYP." The singer is the founder and the co-CEO of JYP Entertainment, one of the most profitable music agencies in the industry.
Through the years, JYP Entertainment has developed and managed multiple K-pop artists and groups in the business, such as Rain, Wonder Girls, 2PM, Miss A, GOT7, Suzy, Stray Kids, Day6, Twice, Itzy, Boy Story, and Nizui.
