Seo Hee-won Announces Legal Action Amid Drug Allegations Against Her Husband Koo Jun-yup Sparked by Micky Huang
Taiwanese actress Seo Hee-won (aka Barbie Hsu) announced her intention to take legal action against the drug allegations made about her husband, Koo Joon-yeop, a member of the band Clon.
Recently, Micky Huang, a popular Taiwanese MC, released a video revealing the illegal actions of celebrities. The video includes a segment on Koo Jun-yup.
In the video, Micky Huang alleged, "Koo Jun-yup, who is Seo Hee-won's husband, took me to the bathroom and forced me to do drugs," continuing his shocking revelations.
Seo Hee-won refuted Micky Huang's claims. In a statement, she expressed deep regret over his false allegations, stating, "Koo Jun-yup was acquitted of these charges in court back in 2004. Please do not speculate that he is doing drugs simply because he works in a club. Seo Hee-won's heart is in poor condition, making it impossible for him to do drugs."
She continued, "We will be taking legal actions regarding Micky Huang's revelations," and added, "For the sake of his family, we hope Micky Huang recovers soon." The controversial video has since been removed.
Seo Hee-won was married to businessman Wang So-bi in 2011 and they have a son and a daughter together. However, after ten years of marriage, they announced their divorce. Koo Jun-yup reached out to Seo Hee-won upon hearing the news and they got married in March 2022.
Micky Huang is currently entangled in allegations of sexual assault involving a 17-year-old female. After admitting to all accusations, he made a drastic choice that led him to be hospitalized. It is reported that his life is not in danger.
