Kim So Eun Reveals The Reason She Accepted The Role As Lee Na Eun In ‘Lonely Enough To Love’
Kim So Eun reveals why she decided to star in 'Lonely Enough To Love,' an MBC Every1 Drama.
Per Soompi, the upcoming drama talks about housemates in their 20s and 30s who want to enjoy their freedom and don't want to be serious and alone.
Kim So Eun was asked why she accepted the project. The actress who found the drama relatable said that she saw something in the story that people aged 20s and 30s can relate to. She also said that she could connect with the narration of the drama to take a realistic and detailed approach to love and dreams. "I think the drama will help comfort those twenties and thirties who are pained by failures in love and dreams."
Kim So Eun will take up the role of Lee Na Eun, a freelance copy editor who dreams of being a novelist. The actress showed affection for her character and said that Lee Na Eun is a great character who is chasing after her dreams. Though Lee Na Eun is still processing to get there and sometimes discouraged by all the people around her who are successful, she uses her experiences to press on and work even harder.
Kim So Eun continues that Lee Na Eun may look amateur on the outside, but her ambition and passion bring her to the professional level. "She is someone who values eternal strength."
Moreover, the actress continued, "How much do I think I resembled Lee Na Eun? About 80 percent?" She said that the character of Lee Na Eun, being a freelance copy editor who wants to be a novelist, is the same as her especially being detail-oriented and thorough when it comes to her work.
Kim So Eun continued that she also, in real life, tries her best to check over everything, especially when it comes to scripts and filming.
'Lonely Enough To Love' will air on August 11, at 10:50 PM, KST.
