Lee Seung-Gi Shares His Worries About His Unaddressed Emotional Issues
Lee Seung Gi spoke up on a recent episode of SBS's 'All The Butlers' about the emotional ups and downs he has been experiencing and his frustration that they have gone unresolved for a long time now.
The discussion started when idol Cha Eunwoo questioned Lee Seung Gi if the actor had shed some tears before and the reason behind the tears. Lee Seung Gi replied with an unexpected answer, revealing that he has not cried for four years now. The big revelation, however, was just the tip of the iceberg.
Lee Seung Gi then continued to express all the mental struggles that he has faced, as well as how little he did to try to fix it.
"These days, I feel like I may have forgotten my negative emotions. When I get the feeling, I always break it off. I do not have the time to feel that way. I don't understand exactly how if you question me how I reduce or manage my distress. I get quite stressed, indeed, but I don't remember where this all ends up going. It piles up everywhere, so I don't know where it is. I conceal it in the ground if it is complicated. I don't think I've tried letting any of this out." (via Koreaboo)
The show's casts sympathized with Lee Seung-gi and tried to encourage the actor to start writing in a diary after learning Lee Seung Gi's troubling revelation. Lee Seung Gi ultimately agreed with the suggestion. He thinks this would help him face his problems instead of trying to overlook it negatively.
And there is yet another aspect Lee Seung Gi fails to resolve, and this is happiness. He confessed that no matter how hard he tries to collect and savor happy little moments, it doesn't seem to come back as big delight to him.
