Iconic K-Pop sensation BLACKPINK painted the Osaka night sky pink as they successfully wrapped up their second Japanese dome tour.

Over the course of two days on the 3rd and 4th, BLACKPINK rocked the Kyocera Dome Osaka with their 'BLACKPINK World Tour - In Your Pink Japan'. Following their Tokyo Dome performance in April where they met with 110,000 fans, the addition of another 100,000 from Osaka boosted their total to an impressive 210,000 fans from just four performances in two Japanese cities. The Kyocera Dome is particularly significant as BLACKPINK made history there by being the fastest overseas girl group to perform there post-debut. This added an extra layer of meaning for both the artists and their fans. Despite fierce competition for tickets, they achieved a sold-out concert for each performance, and their pop-up store was a huge hit, proving the intense interest from local fans.

For this concert, due to a COVID-19 diagnosis, Jisoo was unable to participate, and Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa decided to take the stage as a trio to keep their promise to their patiently waiting fans. Jisoo expressed her regret to the fans and urged them to support the other members who will put on an even more energetic performance in her absence.

Fans responded to the challenge by creating a sizzling atmosphere in the venue. As if answering their deafening cheers, BLACKPINK kicked off the event with a power-packed performance of "How You Like That". The trio expressed their excitement to be back and shared, "Jisoo unnie is really sorry and worried that she couldn't come. She missed the Osaka fans. We will do our best for Jisoo unnie's share as well, so please enjoy it."

The members continued to set the stage ablaze with hit songs such as "Pretty Savage", "Whistle", "Lovesick Girls", "Kill This Love", "Shut Up", and "DDU-DU DDU-DU". The concert was amplified with live band sounds and high-quality production reflecting YG's concert know-how, setting the audience ablaze.

From various solo performances to encore stages, BLACKPINK tirelessly performed, expressing their gratitude for the unwavering love from their local fans. Fans promised to meet again, sending applause and cheers to the members who interacted with them all over the stage.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is in the midst of the 'BLACKPINK World Tour - In Your Pink', the largest scale world tour for a K-pop girl group, attracting around 1.5 million fans. After a triumphant end to their Japan dome tour, they are set to travel to Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, where member Rosé spent her childhood. In July, they are set to take the stage as the first-ever K-pop artist headliner at the 'Hyde Park British Summertime Festival' in the UK.
