(G)I-DLE Clinches 7th Music Show Crown on 'Music Core', Stray Kids and CIX Make Stunning Comebacks
(G)I-DLE continued their winning streak, securing the top spot on MBC's 'Music Core' for the second consecutive week.
On June 3's episode of 'Music Core', (G)I-DLE trumped IVE and aespa to clinch the first place with their hit track 'Queencard'.
After their victorious win, Soyeon expressed, "We didn't anticipate to win today, but we're deeply thankful to Neverland [(G)I-DLE's fan club name] for granting us the first place. We're extremely grateful for your unwavering support until the very last week of our promotions. We love you all so much."
Stray Kids broke records and stole hearts with their third regular album's title track 'S-Class', which amassed an impressive pre-order total of over 5.13 million copies. 'S-Class' carries a message of embracing individuality and shining bright despite differences. The group's energetic performance captivated both the eyes and ears of the audience.
Super Junior-M's Zhoumi unveiled his stage for the new single 'Manana (Our Drama)'. The new track metaphorically compares an impending break-up with the climax scene of a drama, which is made even more captivating by Eunhyuk's charming rap.
AB6IX made a comeback with 'LOSER', a track that expresses a desperate search for light in the midst of overwhelming darkness. CIX also returned with 'Save Me, Kill Me', offering comfort to the youth. Furthermore, a performance by virtual boy group PLAYV of 'Why Why Why?' was showcased.
This episode of the show featured performances by Stray Kids, Zhoumi (feat. Eunhyuk), AB6IX, CIX, PLAYV, Boy Fantasy, MONSTA X's Joohoney, (G)I-DLE, VERIVERY, DKB, UNI.T, ATBO, The Wind, Black Swan, and Yeonggi.
