The members of YG's new girl group, Babymonster, have been finalized, marking the birth of a global hot rookie attracting high international fan interest even before their official debut.

Babymonster, YG Entertainment's first girl group in nearly seven years since BLACKPINK, has firmly established its seven-member lineup for debut after about five months of teasers and final evaluations since the group's first teaser was unveiled on January 1.

Composed of multinational members from Korea (Ahyun, Haram, Rora), Thailand (Pharita, Chiquita), and Japan (Ruka, Asa), Babymonster is a team of seven top-notch members who have undergone professional training for the past four years after beating thousands in YG auditions. Following the final member confirmation and the release of their pre-debut song 'DREAM,' their subscription rate has surged even further, standing at 2.76 million as of today, with content views surpassing 400 million.

Renowned international media outlets are shining a spotlight on Babymonster. Billboard, the American music specialist publication, designated them as 'K-Pop Artists to Watch' and predicted they would "bring a new wave to the K-pop genre". Notably, global pop star Charlie Puth praised Ahyun's cover of 'Dangerously,' expressing his admiration with a succinct "I loved it."

Babymonster, meticulously prepared by YG with a multicultural lineup to target the global market, is already feeling the heat from their international fans.
