Kim Ji-sung, an actress who appeared in 'Produce 101', shared her feelings about her surprising win in the Seoul preliminaries of 'Miss Korea 2023'.

On the 22nd, Kim Ji-sung told OSEN, "I'm truly grateful for the unexpected honor and the overwhelming attention, something I didn't anticipate."

Kim Ji-sung ascended to the top in the 'Miss' category during the 2023 Miss Korea Seoul regional preliminaries, held at the Dongduk Women's University Centennial Hall on the 20th.

As candidate No. 17 for the 67th Miss Korea Seoul, Kim Ji-sung previously stated, "I am Kim Ji-sung, candidate number 17, who wants to become the ending fairy of Miss Seoul 2023 with my diverse charms. We are sisters like no other. Is this a talent that comes from genes? There are rumors that sisters have entered Miss Seoul. We, as sisters, will grace the end of this Miss Seoul."

Kim Ji-sung, who joined the Miss Korea competition with her younger sister Kim Hong-eun, confidently secured a place in the finals.

Kim Ji-sung stated to OSEN, "I will contribute to enhancing the value of Miss Seoul through various activities and volunteer work. I will continue to prepare diligently to achieve good results in the 2023 Miss Korea main competition."

She continued, "I was happier to be able to do this with my sister. It was a meaningful experience, creating beautiful memories and a special gift for us. I hope to share good news of our progress and ask for your continued support and interest."

Kim Ji-sung participated in the first season of Mnet's 'Produce 101' aired in 2016 but was eliminated at the final rank of 68. Since then, she has started her acting career and has appeared in dramas such as 'The Miracle', 'Touch Your Heart', 'Footsteps', 'Doll's House', and 'Elegant Friends'. All eyes are on Kim Ji-sung to see how she will perform in the Miss Korea main competition coming up in October.
