Le Sserafim Breaks into Spotify's Global 'Weekly Top Songs' Two Weeks in a Row
K-pop group Le Sserafim is gaining global momentum, harvesting impressive results on the Spotify charts.
According to Spotify, the world's largest music streaming company, Le Sserafim's new track 'Unforgiven (feat. Nile Rodgers)' has secured a spot on the global 'Weekly Top Songs' chart (May 12-18) at the 101st position, marking its second consecutive week on the chart. Furthermore, the song has held a spot on the 'Daily Top Songs' chart for 18 straight days (May 1-18), proving its global popularity.
'Unforgiven (feat. Nile Rodgers)' entered the 'Weekly Top Songs' in a total of 13 countries/regions. It seized 2nd place in South Korea, 4th in Singapore, 5th in Taiwan, 14th in Japan, and 15th in Malaysia. It also climbed up the ranks from the previous week in a total of five countries/regions, including the Philippines and Saudi Arabia.
Notably, on the South Korean 'Weekly Top Songs' chart, Le Sserafim's songs from their first mini-album, second mini-album, and their title tracks were scattered throughout, totaling nine songs on the chart. This display showcased Le Sserafim's reliable appeal to listeners.
Le Sserafim was selected for Forbes' '30 Under 30 ASIA 2023' on the 18th (local time). Forbes mentioned the group's achievements, including their first studio album reaching 6th on the US Billboard main chart 'Billboard 200', setting a record for the quickest K-pop girl group to enter the 'Top 10'. They described Le Sserafim as "one of the most popular K-pop girl groups at present."
