ASTRO's JinJin has made a successful musical debut, receiving rave reviews from audiences.

JinJin took to the stage in the role of Jason at the musical 'Dream High' held on May 13 at the Kwanglim Art Center BBCH Hall in Gangnam, Seoul.

'Dream High' is a show musical based on a popular drama of the same name that aired on KBS 2TV in 2011. The musical narrates the story of the drama's protagonists a decade later.

JinJin portrayed Jason, a foreign-born dancer who was admitted to Kirin High School with top honors due to his exceptional talent and is now a choreographer and dance artist.

Despite it being his first musical challenge, JinJin portrayed Jason through dance and acting that carried the story. His versatile talent shone in this production, which blended show elements with the musical format. Not only was his acting and singing stable, but his performance heightened the immersion of the narrative.

Despite it being his debut performance in a musical, JinJin flawlessly embodied the character of Jason with solid skills, eliciting a standing ovation from the audience. He has successfully taken the first step as a musical actor, raising expectations for the remaining performances.

As the leader and main rapper of ASTRO, JinJin is a singer with songwriting and composing abilities. JinJin, who has taken a new leap as a musical actor, plans to be actively involved in various fields starting with this performance.

'Dream High' featuring JinJin will be performed until July 23 at the Kwanglim Art Center BBCH Hall in Gangnam, Seoul.
