Sulli's personal life is planned to be explained in-depth, and her family, friends, and workers from SM Entertainment will be interviewed. It was October of last year when Sulli died, and the upcoming documentary will be a chance to reflect on her life as she reaches her first death anniversary.
ABOUT SULLI
Sulli started her career as a young actress and starred in the history-making Ballad of Seodong (2005) of the SBS as a supporting child actress. She has been a guest of the TV series Love Needs a Miracle (2005) and Drama City (2007), followed by the movie Vacation (2006). Afterward, she starred in Punch Lady (2007) and BA: BO (2008), her first appearance with a significant drama role.
Sulli has been a famous member of the girl band f(x), which was founded in 2009, after reaching a recording contract with SM Entertainment. With five members, the group gained worldwide success upon becoming SXSW's first K-Pop band.
For her bold personality, Sulli was regarded as a leading figure in the culture of mainstream Korea, and in 2017 became the most Googled individual in South Korea, ahead of Moon Jae-in, the existing South Korean president.
SULLI's DEATH
Different news organizations have linked Sulli's sudden death to online harassment depression. After Sulli's passing, it became clear that her company SM Entertainment had regularly been asked by her to take firm action against negative remarks and online harassment.
A total of seven demands for harsher sanctions and better use of the real-name system when making remarks and establishing accounts were proposed on the South Korea Presidential Office website. Also, the political circle spoke about different ways to avoid such an incident.
