The era of 4th generation girl groups is off to a roaring start, with IVE, LE SSERAFIM, and aespa all boasting impressive results following their recent comebacks.

IVE, LE SSERAFIM, and aespa are leading the charge as representatives of the 4th generation girl groups. Each group wields immense digital and physical sales power and boasts a solid fan base. They excited fans by announcing new album releases last month and this month, setting the stage for a girl group comeback showdown.

All three groups have now achieved '2-consecutive million-seller' status with their recent comebacks. IVE returned with their first full-length album 'I'VE IVE' on the 10th of last month, recording 1,102,107 initial sales and earning the million-seller title for the second time in a row, following 'After LIKE' which sold 1,081,201 copies.

LE SSERAFIM made history as the fastest girl group to achieve million-seller status with their comeback. They returned with their first full-length album 'UNFORGIVEN' on the 3rd and recorded 1,250,000 initial sales, while their previous work 'Antifragile' also surpassed 1,000,000 accumulated sales. 'UNFORGIVEN' broke the record for the highest first-day sales among girl groups with 1,020,000 copies sold.

However, LE SSERAFIM's new record was soon broken by aespa, who made a comeback on the 8th with their new mini-album 'MY WORLD.' aespa sold 1,372,929 copies on the first day of release, ranking first in K-pop girl group history for first-day sales.

Additionally, their comebacks have caused a shakeup in the K-pop girl group initial sales rankings. aespa's comeback album 'MY WORLD' sold 1,370,000 copies, ranking second in the all-time initial sales ranking, while LE SSERAFIM's 'UNFORGIVEN' ranked third with 1,250,000 initial sales. IVE's first full-length album 'I HAVE IVE' sold 1,100,000 copies, placing fifth. BLACKPINK's 'THE PINK' holds the record for the highest first-week sales among girl groups with 1,540,000 copies sold.

While IVE has successfully concluded their comeback, LE SSERAFIM and aespa are actively promoting their latest releases. In particular, aespa's initial sales count is not yet final, and their album sales are expected to increase further.
