Lee Joon Gi And Moon Chae Won Share Thoughts About Their Kissing Scene In 'Flower Of Evil'
Moon Chae Won and Lee Joon Gi talk about the behind-the-scenes story of their kiss during a live chat on July 30, featuring the cast of 'Flower of Evil.' Jang Hee Jin and Seo Hyun Woo also graced the live chat.
The couple's deep kiss in the new drama 'Flower of Evil,' received a lot of buzz during the show's premiere episode. Moon Chae Won plays the character of a detective wife who becomes suspicious of her husband's mysterious past.
In the interview, Jang Hee Jin commented that the trending kiss of the couple was intense. She expressed that she was shocked because the scene seemed more in-depth than it was in the script.
Lee Joon Gi also shared that they were thinking a lot about carrying out the kiss scene well since it was part of the early takes for the drama for its first episode. He said that as a married couple, they couldn't just have a sweet and naïve kiss.
On the other hand, Moon Chae Won revealed that the kissing scene didn't feel that deep on the set. It was well-played by the camera, that is why it looked intense. Lee Joon Gi agreed and said that the director has been behind the details of the scene that though it did not feel much on the set, he managed to make it looked passionate.
Soo Hyun Woo shared that others said that couples don't kiss like that and that made the group laugh. Lee Joon Gi responded that viewers should not generalize; some couples are in love too.
Furthermore, Seo Hyun Woo described Lee Joon Gi as an energy booster and didn't get tired quickly. Jang Hee Jin added that they become worried that he'll get tired out. She thinks that he has an unbelievable amount of energy.
Lee Joon Gi noted, "Honestly, I like attention. If I am making fun and run around, then they will turn their eyes on me."
