Super Junior's Sungmin Makes a Shocking Debut as Trot Singer with 'Love Stings' Release on May 10
Super Junior member Sungmin is making his debut as a trot singer.
Sungmin's single 'Love Stings,' set to be released on May 10 at 6 pm (KST), includes a total of two tracks that anyone can easily sing along to - the title track 'Lovesick' and the b-side 'Eri.'
The title track 'Lovesick' is a Latin trot song that features passionate brass, intense electric guitar, and various percussion elements working together in harmony. With its witty lyrics expressing love and an addictive melody in the chorus, it is expected to be a song that will appeal to not only older generations but also younger audiences.
Sungmin has previously showcased a variety of music as a solo artist, including his first mini-album 'Orgel,' single 'Goodnight, Summer,' and SM STATION release 'Day Dream.'
Sungmin's debut as a trot singer is particularly noteworthy as he challenged the genre through the TV Chosun variety show 'Mr. Trot 2.' After appearing on the show and receiving rave reviews, his future activities across various genres are garnering attention.
