BLACKPINK's Lisa Tops Solo Artists as 'Most Mentioned' at Coachella 2023
BLACKPINK member Lisa has emerged as the most-mentioned solo artist on social media during "Coachella 2023."
Lisa ranked first among global soloists in terms of the highest social media mentions for "Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2023" (aka "Coachella"). BLACKPINK, the group Lisa is part of, successfully completed their performances at Coachella on the 15th and 22nd (local time) in California, USA.
In connection with this, on the 24th (Korean time), American social media analytics company and consumer market information platform NetBase Quid announced the top 10 most-mentioned artists at Coachella on social media.
According to the official announcement, Lisa ranked second overall among the top 10 most-mentioned artists on social media and first among solo artists. BLACKPINK received the most mentions, followed by Lisa in second place, Jennie in third, Rosé in fourth, and Jisoo in fifth.
During Coachella week, Lisa also ranked first in US Twitter trends with the hashtags "#LisachellaReturns" and "BOSSPINK LISA COACHELLA," which secured first and fourth place in global trends, respectively.
Moreover, Lisa demonstrated her local popularity by appearing in the 1st to 32nd spots on China's largest social network service Weibo's real-time search. At that time, she recorded an enormous search volume with a 'Heated' indicator. On Twitter and Weibo, nearly 3 million posts containing related hashtags were published, showcasing her powerful global influence.
