ASTRO Moonbin Remembered by Staff: 'Polite and Humble, Never Gave Orders'
As the late boy group member Moonbin has passed away, acquaintances and staff who worked with him recall their memories together.
Recently, a staff member posted a heartfelt message mourning Moonbin, recalling moments they shared while working together.
The staff member wrote, "I have so many memories," and "I remember him standing in front of a crosswalk, suddenly saying, 'It must be spring. Do you know the smell of spring? To me, the smell of spring is...' and excitedly describing the scent in his memory."
Another international translation team staff member shared their story with Moonbin, saying, "I worked with ASTRO several times, and I'd like to tell you a story about Moonbin." They described Moonbin as "the person who always greeted staff first, whether it was morning, afternoon, or even midnight."
They continued, "He was always a polite and humble person, saying, 'I'm sorry to bother you, but could you help me, please...' Moonbin never gave orders to us. Instead, he always asked courteously when he needed something."
Furthermore, they shared, "Our translation team often took breaks at Moonbin's request to his manager. It's rare for us to take a break during restroom or meal times when working with Korean companies. He was very concerned about the staff's health," and mourned, "The moon has finally become a star. Moonbin, soar high and rest in peace."
Meanwhile, Moonbin was found dead in his Seoul home on April 19. He was 25 years old. Police are investigating the exact cause of death, suspecting that Moonbin made an extreme choice.
Moonbin's funeral took place privately on the morning of April 22, in accordance with the wishes of his family.
