YG Entertainment Denies Dating Rumors Between BLACKPINK's Rosé and Actor Kang Dong-won [Official]
YG Entertainment has announced that the dating rumors involving BLACKPINK's Rosé (26) and actor Kang Dong-won (42) are false.
On April 17, Rosé's agency, YG Entertainment, stated in an official position, "We previously mentioned that we cannot confirm anything regarding Rosé's personal life. However, due to ongoing baseless speculation, we would like to clarify once again."
The statement continued, "The dating rumors involving Rosé reported today are not true. We would appreciate your help in ensuring that information contrary to the facts does not spread further."
The dating rumors between the two started recently through an overseas online community. Photos of the two attending the same event surfaced, and suspicions arose as they appeared to be wearing similar clothing, possibly indicating a couple look.
Initially, YG Entertainment commented, "As it is a matter of the artist's personal life, we have no information to confirm." However, as the suspicions continued, the agency reiterated that the rumors are not true.
Meanwhile, Kang Dong-won's exclusive contract with YG Entertainment expired at the end of last year. Rosé, as a member of BLACKPINK, has been participating in world tours and various international festivals.
