Singer Hong Jin-young has recently been recognized for helping a mother and child who were nearly in danger due to a crowd at a local festival.

A man recently revealed on his personal account that he received significant help from Hong Jin-young when he attended a local festival event. The man, whose wife has been a fan of Hong Jin-young since before they met, explained, "We went to the cherry blossom festival near where we live with our child when we heard Hong Jin-young was coming. We saved a front row spot for my wife since early morning."

After the performance, the family moved closer to a parked car near Hong Jin-young, hoping to get a closer look at her. However, a sudden surge of people created a somewhat dangerous situation. Hong Jin-young quickly helped the woman holding her child get into the car and then drove them to a safe location before letting them out.

The man continued, "The child cried because her dad couldn't get into the car. In the midst of that, Hong Jin-young gave the child a present to console her, and my wife was moved to tears." He shared this heartwarming story.

Hong Jin-young, the protagonist of the story, told Sports Chosun in a phone call on the 16th, "On April 8, after the 'Ui-cheon Cherry Blossom Festival' event, I was moving by car when suddenly, people started to gather around. Among them, a mother was holding her child and shouted, 'I have a baby!' because she was startled by the crowd." She added, "I thought it would be dangerous to leave them like that."

Hong continued, "In a hurry, I put the mother and child in my car. We drove about 150-200 meters, avoiding the crowd. The mother and child then said it was safe to get out, so I let them out." The girl, who appeared to be about 4 or 5 years old, kept crying because her father was left behind in the crowd. Hong Jin-young quickly gave her a Pikachu plush toy from her car, which thankfully calmed the child down.

Regarding the belatedly shared story, Hong Jin-young said, "As I attend events, I sometimes witness dangerous moments like this. In similar situations, others would have taken the same action as I did," before ending the phone call.
