BTS Jungkook Crowned 'Top Idol with Outstanding Solo Performances'
BTS member Jungkook has secured the top spot as the "Idol Who Shows Superb Performance On Solo Activities" in a recent poll. The survey, conducted on the Idol Champ app from March 22 to April 4, saw Jungkook winning the first place with an impressive 58.99% vote share.
Following Jungkook, NCT's Mark secured the second position (15.56%), followed by BTS' RM (10.84%), GOT7's BamBam (4.07%), SHINee's Key (3.43%), MAMAMOO's Moonbyul (1.44%), BLACKPINK's Lisa (1.29%), Ha Sungwoon (1.14%), EXO's Kai (0.99%), and TWICE's Nayeon (0.90%).
Jungkook has gained global recognition as a solo artist with his exceptional talent and presence. His collaboration with American pop star Charlie Puth, "Left and Right," maintained a strong presence on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 17 consecutive weeks, showcasing his powerful impact on global music platforms.
"Left and Right" won the Collaboration Song award at the 2022 E! People's Choice Awards and was included in Billboard's list of '2022 Best Collaboration Songs.' Additionally, Jungkook's solo tracks "Stay Alive" and "My Time" reached 95th and 84th place on the Hot 100 chart, respectively.
Jungkook has also been featured on the Hot 100 chart with "Waste It On Me" (89th), "Savage Love" (1st), "Stay" (22nd), and "Film Out" (81st). He was the only Korean male singer included in Rolling Stone's list of the '200 Greatest Singers of All Time.'
In 2022, Jungkook has claimed various prestigious titles, such as "Most Famous Musician Born in 1997" by STACKER, "Top K-Pop Idol of 2022" by Mashable India, "Best New Artist 2022" by Channel R Radio, "Top Male Soloists 2022" by Genius Korea, and "Artist of the Summer" by Audacy. He also won the "Male Artist of the Year 2022" at the Philippines KPOP Awards, solidifying his position as a global solo icon.
