Park Seo Joon Faces Controversy After 2014 Interview Resurfaces
South Korean actor and internationally-renowned brand ambassador Park Seo Joon landed himself a situation that involves the opinion of netizens. The current sticky controversy that makes the actor the subject is from the statement he made from an old interview.
Park Seo Joon's controversial statement
The K-drama heartthrob, who starred as Park Sae Ro Yi in jTBC's Itaewon Class, made remarks in his past interview seven years ago that instantly became a hot topic today. The heated topic led K-netizens to talk about how patriarchal the actor is in his ideal type of wife.
During the said past interview, Park Seo Joon was asked to give a description of his ideal type of woman, which did not catch the eyes and ears of many at that time but has been quoted recently online.
The actor's statement that captured the attention of many netizens is when he said that his future spouse should stay at home taking good care of his children.
His ideal family setup correlated to his childhood experience where his mother raised him, so he also wants his loving wife to do the same. If not done by his wife, the actor revealed it could be that his children would grow up as chaotic adults.
"Either he won't have good social skills, or he could end up being a felon to be extreme," the What's Wrong With Secretary Kim star said.
