Former Brave Girls Member Hayun Shares Why She Left The Group
Former Brave Girls member Hayun shared the reason why she left the group.
On May 4, Hayun wrote in her personal Instagram account discussing why she has to leave the group. Mainly, the reason is because of health reasons.
Hayun initially joined the girl group Brave Girls way back in 2016. Same time together with its current members. She was also part of the original lineup when they first released 'Rollin.'
In August 2018, the catchy, sexy comeback music video 'Rollin' was re-released. Although the concept was popular among K-pop in 2015, it became rare in the recent season. Brave Girls made its group's first comeback and brought solid vocals and performances.
In addition, Hayun did not promote their music video due to health reasons that led her to leave the group later that month. As the 'Rollin' of Brave Girls was recently revived, many fans expressed their interest in Hayun.
They considered her as an original member of the song and the group. In response to the fans, she shared and explained why she left the group.
In her post, she wrote that she wanted to be honest about her withdrawal from Brave Grils. She revealed that for some time, she has a hormone disorder that is called Hyperthyroidism. Her Hyperthyroidism worsened during the promotions, leading her to leave eventually.
She discussed it with the agency, and they concluded that it would be difficult for her to continue promoting. It may be regretful, but that is how she came to leave the group.
In the present, Hayun is still dealing with hyperthyroidism; however, she is focusing on her treatment, and she is doing much better. She also apologized to her fans for telling them so late.
Lastly, she said that even though she cannot be with Brave Girls because of her health condition, she will sincerely continue to support Brave Girls and its future promotions.
