Red Velvet's Seulgi Updates Fans On Wendy's Condition + Promises To Comeback With Full Members Soon
In December 2019, Red Velvet's Wendy was brought to the hospital after a 2.5-meter drop from a stage during the 2019 SBS Gayo Daejun rehearsals.
With the encouragement and support of her fans, friends, and relatives, she embarked on the road to healing and recovery time. Seulgi said that Wendy spent most of her time comfortably, working diligently every day.
Wendy is reportedly attending therapy counseling sessions and is focusing on her singing in the rehearsal studios. Wendy also approached the youngest members of Red Velvet, who were the first to inform Seulgi and Irene, that she had seen and applauded their overall performance for the music video of 'Monster.'
Irene assured fans that after 'Monster,' they will continue with their "Play" promotional activities. Irene also revealed that a complete member comeback is possibly happening. (via Koreaboo)

SM Entertainment Addresses Issues Concerning Red Velvet Wendy's Accident
SM Entertainment issued an accompanying update concerning Red Velvet Wendy.
"Because Wendy is still seeking care for her injuries, she will not be taking part in plans for the year to end. The remaining members of Red Velvet would only engage in individual activities, including the anticipated stages of their partnership and MC assignments at the KBS Song Festival, which the MBC Gayo Daejejun, and, therefore, will not act as a band.
Wendy is presently taking her time to recuperate fully and temporarily be suspended in group activities until further health updates."
Fans are still angry over SBS' apology statement, to which they claimed to be insincere. SBS reportedly apologized to fans for the adjustment in the line-up only and then gave Wendy only a small note that said, "We pray for your quick recovery."
