BTS Soars High Once Again On Billboard 200, Remains At The Top Spot On Artist 100
The world's phenomenal K-pop group BTS is going strong and all out on the Billboard music and album charts, following the mesmerizing release of BE's newest album edition.
BTS's Billboard domination
Thanks to BE (Essential Edition), BTS continues its domination in the ever-famous Billboard 200 chart. It has been over three months since the original version of the album was launched in the worldwide music scene as a K-pop album, but it is continuing its reign.
That said, BE was welcomed back again on the Billboard's Top 200 Album chart on its Top 10 list, proving its massive weekly popularity among all albums in the United States.
Soompi reported that on the week of March 6, BE finished at No. 7, jumping 67 spots from its No. 74 rank last charting week.
Furthermore, the impressive finish of BTS is credited to the recent release of BE (Essential Edition), released on February 19. On the figures shared by Nielsen Music, the said album collected 36,000 equivalent album units, hailing 28,000 as traditional album sales.
BTS reigns Billboard's Artist 100
Furthermore, the K-pop septet also dominated Billboard's Artist 100 list, jumping back at the top spot from its No. 5 finish last week. It is now its 16th week on the chart and is expected to be on the list in the weeks to come due to the massive release of BE (Essential Edition).
For the time being, the Dynamite singers and rappers are the fourth long-running artist who has stayed on Artist 100, following Taylor Swift, Drake, and The Weeknd.
The figures based on the artists' rankings are the significant metrics of music consumptions, sales of the album and its songs, radio airplay, and social media influence.
Aside from the Top 200 and Artist 100, BTS also dominated other Billboard charts, including the Global 200 with Dynamite and Life Goes On and the Global Excl. US with Life Goes On.
